Anti-Blackness Was Built On Purpose
The world was taught to be anti-Black because brutality needed an excuse.
Enslavement, colonization, land theft, extracted resources, rape, murder, forced labor, segregation, and economic exploitation could not survive without a story that said Black people were less human, less intelligent, less worthy, and naturally meant to be ruled.
That story was and is a lie, but it was useful. It protected wealth. it protected whiteness. It protected power. It made brutality look normal.
Anti-Blackness was not born from truth. It was built to justify what powerful people wanted to take.
The Lie Outlived The System That Created It
The old language changed, but the pattern did not disappear.
Today, anti-Blackness can show up in schools, policing, housing, healthcare, employment, media, voting access, public policy, and the way Black pain is doubted while Black resistance is treated as the problem.
The words may sound cleaner. The harm may be hidden behind policy, procedure, tradition, or “neutral” standards. But when Black communities keep carrying the heaviest burden, the pattern must be named.
A system does not have to announce its racism to keep producing racial harm.
Cruelty Still Needs A Justification
Power rarely admits that it is protecting itself.
It creates explanations. It blames the people being harmed. It calls inequality natural, protest dangerous, truth divisive, and accountability unfair. It attacks Black history because memory exposes the pattern. It attacks Black institutions because independent power threatens control.
That is the message on the back: they have to justify the cruelty to stay in power.
When you wear this, you force the conversation into the open. You remind people that anti-Blackness was taught, repeated, enforced, and protected—and anything taught can be confronted, exposed, and rejected.
The lie protects the cruelty. The cruelty protects the power. Name it because Black America pays the price.
